The 21st century relies on creation of innovation, entrepreneurs, and start-ups with novel business models. Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University (SDAU) has a unique culture of inclusiveness, diversity, personal and intellectual integrity and value-based education. SDAU has highly qualified and well trained personnel with a state of the art infrastructure. SDAU has always maintained the high standard of educational excellence and continuously strives to create conducive environment for students as well as farming fraternity in the State.
The role of entrepreneurial education is gaining importance over the years and has assumed a new dimension after the thrust of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” mission launched by our Honorable Prime Minister. To encourage and foster an entrepreneurial culture in the university campus and develop an environment of innovation and creativity, the university has Setup Rural Business Incubation Center with the support of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
Doing business in a formal manner requires support in terms of product development, Human resource, finance etc. at all stages right from planning till execution. NABARD assisted SDAU Rural Business Incubation Centre (SDAU RBIC) will be a one stop solution for the aspiring rural youth and will assist agricultural and rural startups for setting up new standards to be benchmarked by the start-ups in this domain. It is fortunate to host aspiring rural entrepreneurs and startup, who are pioneer problem solvers, nurturers of jobs and potential wealth generators.
My good wishes to the team SDAU RBIC for polishing the rural youths and driving them to the set up successful enterprises in time to come and to facilitate linkages with various sectors as a way forward to promote entrepreneurship and to foster the startup culture in the agricultural and rural domain.
